Role:

Developer - eCommerce Location: Brookfield, WIEssential Functions and Responsibilities:Programming

  • Design, code, and test simple to complex programs to completion in one or more of the following languages (ASP, HTML, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, SiteCore, .NET, BizTalk, related scripting and job control language, or other languages as required).Systems Design
  • Analyze, evaluate, and document user requests for new and modified systems and programs that may have leverage on existing technologies or incorporate new technologies that need to be researched and evaluated. Design systems in collaboration with users.Solving problems
  • Assist other development specialists and users in the resolution of problems related to the development, correct operation, and maintenance of the programs and business solutions.Training
  • Oversee the work of junior developers, perform documentation, testing, installation, customization and maintenance of programs originally written or written by others.
  • Mentor and assist in the development of Systems Development Specialist I, II, and others in the department.Follow department methodologies, standards and procedures for documentation, problem solving, time reporting, and project management.
  • Maintain reliable attendanceActively participate in departmental meetings, training, and education.
  • Assist with training other employees and providing backup.
  • Be available for one week/month on-call support.Complete other assignments and special projects as requested. Job RequirementsEducation:
  • Required: AAS Information Technology or related fieldDesired: Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related fieldExperience:
  • Three or more years in Information Systems experience or equivalentKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Systems Development Methodology and processBusiness processes and information structuresWorking knowledge of Continuous Improvement skillsITIL
