Summary:
The Technical Solutions Architect is responsible to design solutions that are replicable as a result of a project or continuous operations. Responsible for Delivery, Support and Integration of Global Technology Solutions in the areas of Supply Chain, Plant Operations, Human Resources and Finance Applications. Also responsible for Systems Design, Configurations and Delivery of new solutions. Develops supporting documentation by providing training on the process. Should be competent enough in handling constant scope changes and assess risks on lights on services, and show leadership qualities in managing resources as well as suppliers and service partners.

Responsibilities:
Act as a business consultant to the Services team who are responsible to manage new demands and stakeholder management
Design solutions and strategy roadmaps in conjunction with business partners and strategy teams
Manage third party suppliers and service partners from technical perspective
Provide solution and technical expertise as a technical advisor by actively participating with project or services teams
A strong desire to make a difference in by supporting and expanding company information systems
Lead and coordinate Applications Systems Support team to ensure delivery of cost effective services
Partner with IT Services and Hosting Services teams to identify, prioritize, develop and implement technology and collaboration solutions
Partner with  IT technology teams to leverage platforms / knowledge and ensure repeatable solutions
Performs project manager duties for technology deliverables by ensuring all processes, procedures and policies related to Technology and Collaboration Service Delivery are documented and maintained
Develop, implement and manage operational and management KPIs and SLAs
Coordinate with other support teams to understand integration points and other systems, analyze the impact of all proposed system changes
Identify opportunities for improvements in systems and processes for continuous smooth operations
Plan for technical changes to the environment using a structure approach that minimizes the impact, risk and achieves high availability and reliability and performance of the SAP instances
Provide recommendations on preferred solutions by partnering with Enterprise Architecture, Network, Service Integration and Hosting Services teams
SAP Installation and configurations, including databases and application servers
SAP client administration (client copy, delete client, create client and export/import client) as needed
Defines technical specifications for development of data exchange interfaces, SAP middle
All other BASIS activities
Support, manage and configure global Financial Consolidation application SAP BPC
Manage and implement Disaster Recovery Operations for Critical applications as part of Business Continuity Process
Other responsibilities as assigned

Preferred Skills and Experience:
Minimum 10 years of experience in Information Technology area and at least 6 years of experience in managing enterprise applications and ERP (SAP) systems
4 year Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
Knowledge of SAP ABAP and Java BASIS Administration, Solution Manager
Must have full lifecycle project experience in all areas of SAP and Non-SAP implementations
Must have experience and knowledge of SAP Solution landscape components and middleware transport tools such as ALE/XML/RFC/ICM/CRM Middleware/XI/PI
Deploying Custom Applications using Tomcat, Jboss, Web Logic, WebSphere Application Servers, IIS7 and IIS6
Good knowledge of understanding Enterprise Integration tools, Web Services and Cloud Technologies
Must have experience with BI tools including SAP Business Objects to support critical financial dashboards
Must have experience building and deploying applications in Windows and Linux environments
Ensures principles of abstraction and reusability in systems design have been applied while designing solutions
Strong Knowledge in ITIL v3 foundation concentrated in Service Design, Service Transition and Service Operation
Knowledge of managing SharePoint 2010 platform
Should have technical knowledge of SAP BPC
Must be self-directed and have a proactive approach to resolving support issues and working with limited on-site supervision
Must have 2+ years experience on System & Network Administration and Oracle database administration
Shell scripting for automation of regular activities
Knowledge of Windows and Unix environments
Knowledge of BOBJ, SAP BW and NetWeaver BPC
Understanding of programming languages and interfaces
Experience in utilities industry is a plus
