JOB SUMMARY
- This position leads SAP ABAP, BI, Hana Cloud Platform (HCP) development and implementations.
- The Technical Lead is a hands-on leadership role and has the overall responsibility of working with the Systems Integrator to ensure the solution is right for the business, providing quality assurance including code review, as well as overseeing the development and data team and programming activities in a new SAP environment.
- Will be responsible for managing customizations and support efforts, including management of a team of developers that or may not be on/off-shore.
- Delivery and/or development of systems projects applying a broad background and knowledge of business operations and systems technology and solutions Projects will typically require the planning and coordination of the development teams including hourly employees, cross business unit, and/or external resources Lead the team responsible for designing, developing and supporting the SAP RICEFW (Reports/Interfaces/Conversions/Extensions/Forms/Workflow) objects
- Provide quality assurance, operational support of current applications, assisting IT management in the management of the development lifecycle, and assessment and delivery of code solutions
- Hands-on role overseeing efforts of a development team and acts as the supervisor of this group; provides leadership, guidance, and direction Advocate and enforce applicable standards, policies, procedures, and best practices in the implementation and/or maintenance of application or application modules
- Coach and mentor team members with regards to current performance and future development; stretch individual team members to achieve outside their comfort zone; motivate team to achieve challenging objectives while fostering a high degree of team satisfaction
