  • Performs daily operational and clerical tasks for the Supply Chain Department in support of all clinic buyers and administrators.
  • Exhibits sound, accurate judgment and shows initiative in decision making to keep all supply chain operations moving forward.
  • Counsels buyers on method of procurement such as direct purchase, bid and capital expenditures.
  • Monitors the performance of suppliers against contractual standards.
  • Works to achieve continuous improvements in costs and performance.
  • Assists buyers/administrators in the purchasing of supplies, equipment and materials for the clinic including capital expenses.
  • Promotes the timely receipt and adjustments for PO shipments.
  • Follows up with vendors and clinic buyers regarding discrepancies or replacements.
  • Assists the Accounts Payable Department in resolving discrepancies between POs and invoices including those received through EDI/CXML transmissions.
  • Maintains purchasing system data with current and accurate item and vendor information.
  • Ensures compliance by clinic buyers with purchasing policies and procedures.
  • Assists with training of clinic buyers and develops procedural documents to facilitate the onboarding and ongoing development of all system users.
  • Maintains accurate buyer and vendor contact lists.
  • Maintains calendars/schedules for standard meetings.
  • Works with vendors to obtain new and updated legal documents such as W9s and proof of workers compensation insurance.
  • Also monitors expiration and renewal of vendor service contracts.
  • Extracts historical data from databases and develops reports/analyses as requested by administrators and executives.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
