  • Position PurposeAs an ECO/SAP Master Data Analyst you will be tasked with master data creation and maintenance within our SAP ERP system.
  • This role supports the Operations department including, Planning Team, Marketing, Finance, Procurement, Distribution & Logistics and has extensive interaction with Marketing and Finance.
  • The role also requires substantial communication with external partners such as third party distribution facilities (3PLs), contract manufacturers and raw material suppliers.
  • Accurate maintenance and tractability of product change is vital to successful ,production & manufacturing, ERP execution and inventory management.
  • You will maintain data records that impact all products, identify and resolve any issues prior to documentation being finalization within any of our PLM or ERP applications and distribution to our partners.
  • You will interface and communicate changes with stated groups to ensure item number creation and or revisions are the most up to date version.
  • You will possess a high degree of professionalism and be tech savvy with exceptional computer and math skills.
  • Candidate must possess superior attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills; he/ she will also possess diligence and the ability to see projects thru and meet deadlines.
Duties And Responsibilities
  • Responsible for creating, managing and processing Engineering Change Orders (ECO), Manufacturer Change Orders (MCO) and revisions.
  • You will also create catalog and item numbers, structure Bill of Materials (BOMs) and maintain archives of changes and related technical documentation.
  • Responsible for governance, implementation and closure of changes as part of a closed loop Engineering Change Control process.
  • Communicate frequently with internal and external partners and groups stated above to ensure prudent processing and resolution to all item-related open issues such as item number changes, and or product launches master data creation or maintenance.
  • Ensure that work instructions (assembly/ kitting instructions) have item number details and catalog numbers (marketing part number) references.
  • Will interface with Product Development, Marketing, Materials and Manufacturing groups throughout release and sustaining product activity.
  • Perform other related duties as required to achieve departmental and company objectives
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3+ years working in an ECO/ Master Data Analysts role with an emphasis on using a SAP ERP system.
  • Experience with ECO process management with expertise in maintenance of master data elements.
  • Technical skills must include a experience with PLM configuration management and BOM structuring applications (e.g. Agile, Arena, etc.), the Microsoft Office suite (e.g. Excel, Word).
  • Goal oriented, must be able to navigate adeptly with political currents , inside and outside the organization with a focus on the business goals that have been outlined for the sourcing relationship.
  • Experienced in relevant process, domain and possess solid knowledge and understanding of working with suppliers, contract manufacturers, 3PL partnersCandidate should demonstrate flexibility, be willing to wear many hats and be hands on.
  • Must possess ability to work in a fast-paced high-growth environment.
  • Thrives on building effective business relationships and possesses strong follow up skillsSelf-motivator and able to drive results quicklyKnowledge of electronic record and electronic signature requirements.
  • Good work prioritization, system integration and project management skills.
  • Experience with QuickBase, SAP or other ERP system.
  • Education, Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent working experience.
