• Long Term Job Description Business Intelligence/Reporting Services - EPIC CERTIFIED Functional Title: Epic Clarity Business Intelligence Designer Universe and Webi Specialist We are seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Epic Clarity Business Intelligence Designer for a 6-month+ contract / contract to permanent opportunity.
• The Consultant will support EHR Enterprise rollout and lead team in building and maintaining Epic Universes and Webi Reports. They will act as a backup for an Epic certifiable Clinical or Revenue Access modules, depending on experience and certification.
• Engagement Location, Hours and Duration: The engagement will take place at our NYC location. Consultant during this engagement is expected to travel 10% within the 5 boroughs of NYC. 2. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Analyze, provide specifications for, design, develop and maintain all Business Object (BO) Universes to support the Epic rollout. Provide knowledge transfer to Report Writers so they can be backup for their particular application\'\'s BO Universes and Webi Reports.
• Act as a backup report writer resource to support other Epic modules. 3. Qualifications / Required Skill: Business Objects certified Universe and Webi Developer.
• Should have (but not required) Epic Report Writer certification. Familiarity with Epic applications and database structures. Proficiency with SQL & relational db concepts, including primary and foreign keys, joins, etc.
• Demonstrated experience with report writing tools including Crystal and Business Objects Webi.
• Deep understanding of system build, end user workflows, and pattern of use. Both technical skills to design and write reports, as well as operational knowledge to understand what report consumers need to see.
• Review upgrade documentation related to Clarity features and related Crystal reporting content and determine how to implement the changes. Ability to determine data structures that benefit the entire reporting environment.
• Validate Model System reports & identify advanced reporting needs with reporting consumers.
• Meet with application analysts (AAC) and report consumers to understand reporting needs Create design specifications for new reports.
• Identify and validate appropriate technology solution for various reporting needs.
• Create new reports, using third-party reporting tools, to display Clarity data. Modify existing reports, as necessary. Other Skills/Abilities Experience in Enterprise rollouts and large team dynamics Prior experience working with EMR systems is desirable.
• Implement robust reporting solutions with continual process improvement to workflow and quality output.
• Deliver reports under strict deadlines dictated by the project schedule. Strong communications skills, Critical thinking and analytical mind.
• Team player with the ability to work independently, if needed.
