- Sr. IT Business Analyst/Project ManagerThe Senior IT Business Analyst/Project Manager will have broad responsibility for the definition and execution of complex business and technical projects.
- The position will take an active role in the development and documentation of business needs, system requirements, and process design.
- S/he will also assist with project management activities such as project tracking, resource management, budget management, and progress reporting.
- S/he must also build and maintain strong working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in projects, provide thought leadership around needs analysis and documentation within the company, and prepare reports for upper management regarding project status.
- Manages large Information Technology programs including applications, infrastructure, systems, storage, networks, and security from the design phase through development, testing, readiness, and stabilization
- Provide organizational leadership in the introduction, advocacy, and implementation of business analysis best practices
- Works closely with project stakeholders, subject matter experts, and end users to identify business, functional, and non-functional requirements
- Document business, technical, regulatory, and other requirements throughout the life of projects to ensure traceability, track benefits, and verify ROI and Total Cost of Ownership projections
- Working with the project team, supports and documents solution design, integration, and acceptance testing.
- Coordinates and collaborates with stakeholders to help translate requirements into workable business solutions.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- Minimum 7 years retail business analysis/project management experience in retail applications, merchandise management/planning
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to communicate business requirements for application, development, vendor selection and request for proposal creation
- Excellent verbal communication and collaboration skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
- Demonstrated expertise in retail concepts, merchandise reporting and planning and tactical execution, project management, process management and business systems requirements definition and consulting
- Thorough knowledge of the retail environment, MS Office and MS Project
- Excellent documentation skills both in requirements gathering and functional/technical information flow
