Works with one or more senior developers/architects to define technical scope, project requirements, business and technical designs for large projects.
Provides support for project development or maintenance efforts.
Codes from detailed specifications, tests and validates output of programs.
Provides accurate estimates of effort to design, code, test and implement technical project components.
Works to support goals of team, willingly shares knowledge and skills.
Completes all assigned tasks on time and within budget and quality standards.
Understands when and how to escalate issues.
Creates and updates functional designs, technical designs, and other project documentation.
Responsible for support and maintenance of all developed code.
Works with the business and IT seniors and management to develop a thorough understanding of business project goals, challenges and objectives.Resolves all project and operational issues.
Conducts user/IT training.

Specialized Knowledge/Skills:

Knowledge and proficiency in Apex development, Visualforce and the Force.com platform.
Knowledge and proficiency in JSP, HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, AJAX, SOQL and SQLKnowledge and proficiency in J2EE Java developmentExperience with Eclipse or RAD development environmentAbility to work in a fast-paced dynamic team oriented environment
Ability to work independentlyStrong attention to detailStrong trouble shooting and problem solving skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsExperience with version control systems (CVS a plus)IBM WebSphere Commerce or Portal experience a plus

Experience/Educational Requirements:

BS or higher degree in Computer Science or IT related field.
3+ years experience with Salesforce.com application customization, integration tools and APIs.
3+ years experience with Apex coding.3+ years experience web application development with Java/J2EE.
Experience with Cloud technologies such as Ruby on Rails or Heroku a plus.
Experience with REST or SOAP web services development a plus.
Experience with multiple database platforms (including at least one of: Oracle, SQL).
Experience with Agile development methods (Agile / Scrum / RUP / XP).
Experience delivering formal designs.
Experience in presenting and demonstrating solutions to clients.
Licenses or Certifications:Certification Dev 401 a plusJava/J2EE certifications a plus
