Based on the recent production issue and the relative lack of experienced Greenplum resources, client has requested Company’s assistance in offering a Healthcheck of the Greenplum environments.
Track 2 Application Development / Data Modeling Track:
Review the queries and jobs ingesting data into the Greenplum environments and exporting data via reports, applications and scripts to ensure Greenplum best practices are being used. The existing data model is similar to client’s existing Oracle repositories, so Greenplum specific enhanced features may not be employed.. Review the schema, Data distribution strategy, and storage modes for suggestions on improving the data mode for future revisions of the environments.
