RESPONSIBILITIES: Synthesize UI best practices with user needs to create design solutions that are easy to use, visually appealing and support products ranging from consumer-facing booking websites to data-intensive business applications. Design and develop responsive solutions using HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript Collaborate closely with the design team on requirements, visual and interaction design and QA Provide guidance to teams adopting the design language Update and maintain documentation related to the design language Champion the adoption of the design language EDUCATION: B.S. (M.S. preferred) in Computer Science or related field EXPERIENCE: Minimum 8 years current professional experience in GUI development, and at least 8 years total software development experience. REQUIREMENTS: Strong experience with HTML/CSS/Javascript and proven ability to write clean, elegant, reusable code is a must Strong experience with cross-platform responsive design and best practices is a must Familiarity with Javascript frameworks (especially AngularJS and React) is preferred Familiarity with Bootstrap 4 and CSS preprocessors (SASS or LESS) is preferred Knowledge of one object-oriented language (Java, C#) is preferred Knowledge of accessibility best practices is preferred Strong communication skills, including written and verbal
