Role:Application Engineer - DevOps Location:Dresher, PA Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for protecting and securing all client data held to ensure against unauthorized access to and/or improper transmission of information that could result in harm to a client. The philosophy and the Core Values of People Matter, Quality First and Integrity Always® should be visible in your actions on a day to day basis showing your support of our organizational culture. Serve as the main liaison between the development and infrastructure teams Responsible for process development, documentation, and continuous improvement in the application environment Develop small scale proof of concept demonstrations of new applications, test new technologies Identify, research and create standards for new software suites Ability to use a wide variety of technologies and tools Ability to code and script Experience with systems and IT operations Comfort with with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment Data management skills A strong focus on business outcomes Comfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders Design, manage, and maintain tools to automate operational processes Understand, implement, and automate security controls, governance processes, and compliance validation Knowledge and Skills: Excellent consultative, verbal/written communication skills, analytical ability Problem solving, initiative, judgment. Ability to effectively analyze technical /architectural options and define ramifications of choices. Preferred technology skills: Large enterprise suites: Business Process Management (BPM) Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Portals Content Management Experience across many platforms, including: .Net Framework C# or VB.Net ASP.Net Cold Fusion MX SQL Server and/or Sybase database Messaging & middle tier WebSphere Experience in automation and testing via scripting/programming Understanding of agile and other development processes and methodologies 5+ years experience in application support, systems architecture methodologies, DevOps, systems analysis.
