JOB DESCRIPTION:

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:

The Enterprise Architect participates as a top level technical expert in leading multiple consulting projects or a single large/complex project and ensures the success of enterprise-level application rollouts. Determines and develops architectural approaches and solutions, conducts business reviews, documents current systems, and develops recommendations of how to proceed with the applications.
Contributes in the planning of the overall IT strategy. This position will be responsible for leading the deployment of Oracle E Business Suite at Bob Evans. Prior experience with Oracle E Business Suite and Oracle SOA Suite preferred.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Develops an IT architecture that supports program/project delivery
2. Creates new solutions and designs in support of the needs of the
business area or infrastructure domain
3. Manages technical quality through architecture and design reviews
4. Manages technical risk, currency and depth of applications supporting a business solution area or manages the technologies supporting a given infrastructure domain 5. Develops and maintains technology strategies, blueprints and application roadmaps for a business solution area or business/technology roadmaps for a given infrastructure domain 6. Implements reusable technology solutions that leverage shared assets 7. Assists business solution area leadership team with estimating costs and technical resource planning for new solutions, technology upgrades and maintenance of application platforms


JOB REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
• Prior experience with Oracle E Business Suite and Oracle SOA Suite
preferred
• At least ten years of IT experience in information technology, with
four years or more in a leadership role
• Experience with multiple types of systems and applications
architecture, running on multiple hardware and software platforms
• Been responsible for the architecture within a large project or
program across the full lifecycle of the initiative, ensuring that the architecture planned has, in fact, been realized
• Experience with Project and Program Management methodologies and
concepts
• Knowledge about technology and IT market trends
• Ability to make decisions and recommendations on technology
strategies while considering various options and business needs
• Strong leadership skills and demonstrated management skills to direct
a technical team
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field or
equivalent.
