Budget $: 100,000 - 200,000

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reviews HRIS for accuracy and ensures changes are updated.Compiles reports regarding new hires and terminated employees on a monthly basis.
  • Process all documents/correspondences pertaining to newly hired employees, terminated employees and leave of absences.Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel and assists in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.
  • Monitors performance management program and suggests revisions as necessary.Performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment, and communicating benefit information to employees.
  • Conducts, monitors, and makes necessary improvements to new employee orientation programs.Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
  • Other duties as assignedMust be able to embrace differences among people and is able to interact with internal staff as well as external contacts in a culturally competent and respectful manner.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelors Degree in related field and/or professional development courses in Human Resources preferred.Three to five years experience in Human Resources preferred.
  • A combination of additional education and experience may suffice.Knowledge with Kronos (Workforce Ready) preferredSPECIALIZED SKILL REQUIREMENTS:Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Close attention to detail.Knowledge of benefit plans.
  • Thorough knowledge of company policies.
  • Ability to prioritize work and to competently address competing demands.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites
