Role:

HRMS Programmer/Analyst - PeopleSoft Location:

  • Indianapolis, INDUTIES1) HRMS Systems--Accountable to manage the HRMS platform(s) including the review, testing and implementation of HRMS system upgrades or patches.
  • Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrades or fixes. Maintain HRMS system tables. Document processes and results.
  • Production Support -Support for HRMS including, but not limited to, researching and resolving HRMS problems, unexpected results or process flaws; perform scheduled activities; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
  • Projects/Process Improvement?In collaboration with customer or as a member of a project or team, propose process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy. If approved by appropriate leadership, develop and document changes prior to implementation. Demonstrate project management skills in managing projects.
  • Reports/Queries?In collaboration with end-users, write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs. Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
  • Develop user procedures, guidelines and documentation. Train clients (e.g. HR Business Partners) on new processes/functionality. Train new system users.
  • Individual Development--Maintain awareness of current trends in HRMS with a focus on product and service development, delivery and support, and applying key technologies. Examine trends in information systems training, materials and techniques. Through classes, reading, CBTs or other mechanisms, continuously increase both HR knowledge and HRIS application/tools knowledge.
  • Communication: Communicate with end-users in non-technical terms, using language they understand in a manner that develops their knowledge and understanding of HRMSQUALIFICATIONSRelevant Skills:? Very high-level of self-awareness and ability to gauge others to appropriately guide personal thinking and behavior? Ability to hold themselves and others accountable to high standards? Courage to take initiative in unfamiliar or ambiguous circumstances.? Solid consultation skills and the ability to seek out information and provide quality advice.?   • Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to effectively present information.? Demonstrated creative thinking and problem solving? Technical knowledge of HR Core processes to include Compensation and Benefits and Payroll. \
Requirements:

  • Bachelor\'s degree in related discipline or applicable experience/credentials of expertise? 5-7 years of work experience using PeopleSoft in both programming and analyst role? Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Decisions made with thorough understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve results and deadlines.
