Job Description

EssentialDuties and Responsibilities

  • Design Leadership
  • Champions User-Centered design concepts within the E-Commerce team
  • Leads the ideation and brainstorming of new design concepts all digital channels including: web, mobile, tablet, promotional, social, and email channels
  • Leads design and wireframe reviews, drives prototyping process, proposes design solutions to increase engagement, loyalty, and conversion
  • User-Centered Design Approach
  • Researches best-practices and competitive e-commerce design experiences
  • Drives Usability Testing and other user-research programs
  • Creates/oversees website landing page designs and other various site imagery
  • Online Brand Management
  • Steward of developing and overseeing a cohesive online Style Guide that aligns with the overarching brand strategy and guidelines to two major digital properties
  • Ensures that the work of internal team members and external agencies adhere to design best-practices
  • Manages Day-To-Day Tasks
  • Responsible for coordinating creative promotions
  • Oversees video postings and image collection and color correction
  • Manages the building of static HTML pages and layouts
  • Plans and executes A/B Testing roadmap for email and web
  • Other Duties
  • Partners with Marketing and Merchandise teams as well as other Ecommerce managers on achieving business goals and objectives from a visual design perspective
  • Other projects as directed by VP of E-Commerce

  • Mentors and leads the work of 3 team members

�·        General understanding of web languages: Javascript, .NET, PHP

Educationand/or Experience:ÂÂ

�·        BA degree in the graphic design, webdesign or related field 5-8 years experience with websites, email campaigns,etc. retail industry experience in web design preferred but not required; mustbe able to pass background check;

  • Exceptional organizational skills, ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize them and carry them out independently.
