My client in the Software industry has an immediate need for a Basic BBJ Developer.
Basic BBJ Developer
Location: Orlando, FL
Duration: 6+ Month Contract
Salary/Rate: Open, DOE
Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities:
This position will analyze requirements and develop solutions to convert current existing software to implement a graphical user interface (or browser user interface as design requires) and act as consultant to business units to determine best solutions to meet the business needs. The position will also work within the established Software Development Lifecycle, comply with all PCI and PII compliance requirements and is expected to be able to work with all levels of associate within the SVO (Starwood Vacation Ownership) organization.
Required:
- 2+ RECENT years programming in BBj (Business Basic on Java) with experience in converting legacy Business Basic solutions in BBj using their Graphical User Interface (GUI) and Browser User Interface (BUI)
- 5+ Years programming in Business Basic Language, BBx preferred but not required
- Ability to communicate clearly and appropriately to all levels of the SVO organization from Senior VP level down to line level associate.
Desired:
- Software development using source code control platforms (CVS, Subversion, GIT) and build / continuous integration tools (Anthill, Jenkins, etc)
- 2+ Years in a formalized SDLC environment
