Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
Ability to gather requirements and design solutions with stakeholders & end users.
Ability to manage small projects, including external consultants and vendors.
Ability to document specifications, test plans, etc., for projects that require it.
Ability to provide technical support for applications and systems.
Excellent communication skills and English proficiency are required.
Excellent critical thinking, logic, and troubleshooting skills are required.
Salesforce.com:
Basic admin tasks like maintenance of user accounts, profiles, sharing rules, etc.
Custom objects and fields with solid understanding of SFDC relationships
Reports, dashboards, list views, etc.
Formula fields and workflow rules with field updates or email notifications
APEX classes and triggers (must have APEX or Java/C# experience)
VisualForce pages (Nice to have)
APEX callouts to Web Services (Nice to have)
Use of DBAmp or similar API clients for managing SF data (Nice to have)
Web development technologies:
Html, CSS, javascript, JS frameworks like JQuery, ASP.Net/MVC, etc.
Database technologies:
SQL Server (all versions since 2005) + some Oracle exposure is a plus
T-SQL for DML and DDL commands, functions, etc.
Stored Procedures, Views, UDFs, etc.
Accessing data via Linked Servers and external ODBC clients
Education & Work experience
Further Education
Bachelor\'s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, engineering or related Field
Basic Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Work Experience
Minimum 3 years of application development experience.
1-2 years of Salesforce.com experience in a mid to large sized company.
