Title :IT MDM ANALYST Location : Dallas TX Duration : 6-12 months Job Summary Seeking an experienced MDM professional to be a part of the IT Team. The role would require working with business partners and IT partners in defining/designing/building new MDM data domains. This individual would also be responsible for maintaining the current MDM platform and data domains which exist in the current platform. The role requires a good understanding of database design, data models, data mapping techniques, data transformation, data quality, ETL processes etc. Primary Responsibilities: · Collaborate with the various stakeholders to understand business/technical requirements around master data. · Should be able to take business requirements and convert them into functional and technical documents for the team to understand. · Should be conversant with MDM concepts around retail and hospitality data. · Should have experience in Data modeling and ETL processes around MDM platforms. · Should have experience in Data Quality, Data Security and Data Integrity processes related to MDM data. · Work in partnership with developers, architects, SMEs, and other IT team members to establish the technical vision and examine tradeoffs between usability and performance needs General Requirements: · Atleast 3 years hands on experience on building MDM systems. · Atleast 2 years experience in defining and building data models around MDM systems. · Atleast 2 years experience in defining and building ETL processes around MDM systems · Work experience on MDS is a plus · Work experience in Teradata/Informatica is desirable but not a must. · Ability to interpret business needs and convert them into technical requirements · Ability to define use cases and test scenarios · Hospitality or Retail experience a plus Qualifications · BS/BAdegree or Information Systems, Computer Science or related field preferred, or equivalent formal training or work experience. · At least six years experience as Business Analyst role supporting technical projects, with at least three years in BI or Enterprise data team.
