Title of Job Description: SAP Senior Business Analyst Location: Manchester Job Description Position Overview: The SAP Senior Business Analyst is responsible for designing and supporting the manufacturing, supply chain and procurement processes by expertly using SAP standard configuration combined with third party applications implementations and/or customizations where necessary. This position provides day to day support and teams with internal and external resources to deliver high quality results. . In addition, the Business Analyst leads or participates in projects that provide enhanced functionality related to the ERP System. Essential Responsibilities and Duties 1. Work with minimal supervision with various levels of the Business 2. Assist in establishing best practices for the companies business processes. Use experience and expertise to suggest improvements to current processes. Suggest methods where alternatives may improve or simplify procedures and operations. 3. Provide day-to-day support for internal customers. Must have a good understanding of the supply chain management processes and SAP MM, PM, PP, MII modules with an in depth configuration expertise in at least one of these modules. 4. Perform SAP configuration activities in SAP MM, PM and PP modules to support daily operations as well as enhancement projects. 5. Manage projects to fulfill requests for new functionality and for major enhancements. Write Blueprint documents (requirements definition), build detailed project plans, set priorities, assign responsibilities, establish schedules and track progress. Manage projects to be on time, on scope and within budget. 6. Document all phases of work. Define and document user requirements including detailed specifications. Prepare system change requests. Create usable Work Instructions for the internal customers. Properly communicate status to the management team. 7. Maintain a valid test environment. Build repeatable test scenarios scripts that thoroughly test the various business processes 8. Develop and execute end user training 9. Travel required as necessary to support the manufacturing or corporate facilities. Experience with SAP APO preferred • At least 3 full-cycle SAP implementations or large scale ERP implementations for manufacturing companies, with configuration responsibilities including one or more for following SAP functionality MM, IM, WM, PM, PP, MRP, APO. Also experience integrating Ariba/Coupa is preferred. • Experience and understanding at least 3 of following end to end processes: o Make to Stock and Make to Order in process manufacturing o Procure to Pay o Preventive Maintenance and Repairs o Demand and Production Planning in process manufacturing o Master Data Management o Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) • Familiarity with supplier-facing Business Integration options. Seeburger is preferred. • Experiencing using any screen personalization tool for SAP. Experience with mobility functionality is desirable. • Good knowledge using/programing Microsoft Excel Macros • Experience with team building and delivery of customer service • SAP certifications are highly preferred
