Position Description: Visualization Engineer will be responsible for transforming large amounts of data driven by SQL/NoSQL into compelling visual stories. The candidate will work within a team and will interact daily with product managers, software engineers and analysts both on-shore and off-shore. The Visualization Engingeer will need strong analytical and organizational skills and will have the strictest attention to details. The successful candidate will adhere to established standards and provide input to develop new standards as needed.
The Visualization Engineer must be able to work independently with minimum supervision, have strong communication skills, be self-driven, and be an effective team player.
What You�?�¢??ll Do:
�?�¢?�?�¢ Build and maintain scalable BI Applications and Tableau Dashboard Reports to transform big data and related analytical results into graphical representations.
�?�¢?�?�¢ Develop Web Applications
�?�¢?�?�¢ Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management and Business users for reporting requirements of various use cases.
�?�¢?�?�¢ Deliver the data, insight and analytics requirements of the business using Tableau.
�?�¢?�?�¢ Evaluate and advise on visualization techniques that work best for different types of data.
�?�¢?�?�¢ Focus on visual design and usability
What You�?�¢??ll Bring:
�?�¢?�?�¢ 3-5 years of experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, QlikView in a large-scale environment.
�?�¢?�?�¢ Experience in Web Development with HTML, D3, Angular Js
�?�¢?�?�¢ Excellent knowledge of Data Warehousing, ETL concepts, SQL, HiveQL etc.
�?�¢?�?�¢ Strong knowledge of Data Integration.
�?�¢?�?�¢ Proficiency with NoSQL, Hadoop and other Visualization technologies.
�?�¢?�?�¢ Experience in developing different types of visualizations for interactive data exploration and real-time visualization.
�?�¢?�?�¢ Experience in building data visualization applications in retail, hospitality, restaurant vertical is big plus.
�?�¢?�?�¢ Proficiency with Agile or Lean development practices.
�?�¢?�?�¢ Excellent technical and organizational skills.
�?�¢?�?�¢ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
�?�¢?�?�¢ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision .
