Responsibilities Oversee physical database design, monitor database performance and implement performance tuning Lead code and design reviews Create standards and best practices for database design and development Ensure quality data creation, presentation and flow across systems Act as a mentor for other team members Write complex stored procedures and enhance database applications Meet with team leaders to ensure data collection satisfaction and presentation Understand large data models quickly OnCall Requirements Bachelor�¢??s degree in computer science or a related technical field Five years or more of experience in developing MS-SQL database applications Strong understanding of MS SQL internals, DMVs, execution plans Strong performance tuning skills Strong knowledge of database design, Data modeling, query design, optimization and stored procedures experience Strong experience of SQL Extended Events Strong desire to learn new features in the new SQL release and new technology and be able to apply to daily word Knowledge of computer hardware, networks and storage devices, including SANS Knowledge of administration and architecture in a Microsoft SQL Server environmWhat�¢??ll Make You Special Knowledge of the NoSQL, Cloud Technology, .NET platform and services-oriented architecture Strong relationship management skills Strong ownership
