Position Description

Looking to hire an A player to lead the global organic user acquisition efforts for Hotspot Shield on both web and mobile, based out of our Menlo Park corporate headquarters, reporting directly to the Director of Marketing. ASO and Mobile Growth Manager will be responsible for optimizing Hotspot Shieldâ??s keyword rankings on Apple App Store and Google Play Store with the goal of increasing organic installs. Establishing direct relationships with store managers at Apple and Google and working with them to get more visibility for Hotspot Shield on app stores will be one of the key priorities. Growth manager will also be responsible for identifying 3rd party Android app stores globally, getting Hotspot Shield listed in each of them and establishing direct relationships with them to improve Hotspot Shieldâ??s visibility.

 Job Responsibilities:

The goal of this position is to increase the number of new Hotspot Shield users exponentially, through the following initiatives:

  • Improve Hotspot Shieldâ??s keyword rankings on Apple App Store and Google Play.
  • Come up with innovative ideas to improve Hotspot Shieldâ??s star rating and reviews on mobile stores.
  • Establish direct relationships with store managers at Apple and Google and work with them to get more visibility for Hotspot Shield on the app stores, through initiatives such as getting our app featured.
  • Get Hotspot Shield listed on 3rd party Android app stores globally and establish direct relationships with these stores to increase the visibility of our app.

 Preferable Job Qualifications:

  • Experience with App Store Optimization (ASO).
  • Proven track record of optimizing and improving keyword rankings on major app stores (iOS App Store and Google Play Store).
  • Existing solid relationships with app store managers at Apple and Google.
  • Experience with mobile attribution tracking and analytics tools (Tune, Ad-x, Kochava, Apsalar, Appsflyer, etc.)
  • Experience with mobile marketing tools including AppAnnie, SensorTower, etc.
  • Experience with large mobile userbases, cohort studies, ROI analysis, revenue-per-user metrics.
  • Experience with consumer-based Internet companies.
  • Extensive knowledge of web analytics, metrics and tools/platforms such as Google Analytics or others
  • Exceptional Excel Skills, proficiency with Powerpoint and Word
  • Outstanding analytical skills and data-driven mindset
  • HTML knowledge preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detailed oriented and organized
  • Understanding of success metrics and ability to measure performance accurately
  • Bachelorâ??s degree or higher required
