TYPE AND LEVEL OF EDUCATION AND DEGREE: BS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent 3 5 years experience in the field. RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Responsible for assistance to all users in their day to day functions with Oracle modules. 2. Analyze and evaluate business processes and identify any procedural problems or non-value added (NVA) activities. Consider how the business system is being used for each process and suggest potential areas of improvement. 3. Gather facts and analyze data to provide comparative analysis capabilities to management. 4. Ensure software systems are configured to process data as required. Prepare charts & diagrams to assist with problem analysis & submit recommendations for solutions. Prepare detailed program specification and flow charts; coordinate software installation and integration. 5. Provide system documentation with revision level control. Write necessary user documentation and provide user training, as required. 6. Review and obtain required approval for user access to confidential data and determine user responsibility to load and/or maintain data on specific data files. 7. Confer with user departments concerning their operations and data needs. Instruct user department personnel on system procedures and operations. 8. Evaluate and recommend changes for continuous improvement of the manufacturing processes. 9. Other related duties and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
