Description - As an expert on the ERP team, this position will provide leadership and guidance regarding Oracle modules currently implemented. - Work with the Business to determine, design and model solutions that have high impact in the company\'s global Oracle implementation and execute and deliver solutions designed in agreement with the overall Oracle architecture and Business needs. - This expert will work closely with the Oracle Architect and the Oracle Solutions Team Project Manager in designing the Solutions that will help acquire new companies, transition them into Oracle, enhancing the recently implemented modules and delivering companywide Oracle projects. Essential Duties: - Responsible for the design and implementation of SCM solutions to complex problems, ranging from new acquisitions, enhancements required by the Business, or proposals for optimization of the current platform. - Act in a lead role on various functional teams and the IT Development and DBA teams on complex system issues, enhancements and projects. - Work with the functional teams to evaluate and develop detailed documentation of system enhancements and business cases supporting the enhancement requests. - Direct and provide adhoc training on system functionality as required by the business. - Ensuring that system issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner to meet the month-end and quarter-end deadlines of the accounting and finance teams. Education and Experience: - 10+ years of hands-on Oracle experience. - Experience in Telecommunications preferable but not indispensable. - Consulting background a big plus. - This position does not require heavy programming skills, however Oracle configuration skills are a must. - Education Level: Bachelor\'s Degree - Attention to detail with good organizational capabilities. - Ability to prioritize with good time management skills. - Ability to travel regionally and/or nationally as required.
