Developer/AX System Specialist

Overview:

This position will be overall responsible for product development of the Microsoft Dynamics AX product suite and its associated systems.  This person will perform day to day development activities on targeted areas of functionality.  Work with key business stakeholders to build software and provide ongoing support so they can achieve the desired functionality that meets their business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Understanding and leveraging the Microsoft Dynamics AX Suite and its associated systems to provide usable business solutions and troubleshoot system issues
• Successfully follow internal coding standards and ensure development deliverables are met on-time, on-budget, and with high quality
• Build software that meets specific business requirements as outlined, ensuring consistent processes through use of internal tools
• Ability to understand business process and data flows and translate into technical specifications
• Aggregating business data by classifying, manipulating, and evaluating very large data sets
• Making recommendations for database and/or procedural improvements
• Maintain and debug systems
• Perform testing of modifications and enhancements to ensure system integrity
• Provide end user support and training for business application tools as necessary

Qualifications:

• Bachelorâ??s Degree in Business Administration/Management, Economics, Accounting, Management Information Systems, or related field is required.
• Solid knowledge of Dynamics AX Modules including: Project, Inventory Management, Production and Master Planning
• 4+ yearsâ?? experience with X++ and MorphX
• 4+ yearsâ?? experience with Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience with Microsoft .Net C# a plus
• Understanding of Database relational concepts and Data warehousing including Cubes
• Writing reports with various reporting tools leaning heavily on SQL Reporting Services (SSRS) a plus
• Well-versed in common Microsoft desktop programs including Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
• Strong analytical and technical problem solving skills
• Availability to be â??on callâ?? or work after hours on occasion, as required
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work with a diverse project team
• Ability to maintain complete confidentiality
• Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Must have a demonstrated ability to work independently with the highest level of integrity.
