The New School Oracle PL/SQL programmer working with the ellucian Banner ERP in a linux environment then this position will be a good match for you. A close team of current programmers are looking for someone who can work in a collaborative way with them to provide support to the universitys installed Banner modules of Student Admission, Student Registration, Accounts Receivable, Financial Aid, Human resources, Finance, Alumni & Development. Someone with experience reviewing documentation and testing upgrades is a important skill for the successful candidate. Also important is the ability to review and modify code that was created by other programmers to create views, and to generate files for export to other systems. Some collaboration with functional users will be necessary. Must have ability to protect operations by keeping information confidential. Minimum Qualifications: ? Competency with Oracle 11g SQL, PL/SQL and linux ? 4-6 years programming experience preferable with Banner. ? Experienced with 2-3 Banner modules (We do not need BI skills with the ODS/EDW.) Preferred Qualifications: Experienced with working in a Higher Education environment Experience using a service desk ticketing system
