Title:JDA Allocation Technical Specialist Location:Bridgewater,NJ Type: Full Time One of our Retail clients in NJ is looking to hire a JDA Allocation Technical Specialist. Someone who can think out of the box in JDA Allocation module and configure it to the client set up. This role is for a Configuration person for manipulating, fine tuning, and configuring version 7.8 to version 8.1. Assortment planning very big plus. If you have experience working with JDA Allocation, please send your resume for immediate consideration. Designing and creating complex and sophisticated solutions utilizing existing retail software applications and client interfaces Working with internal customers and project management to provide technical expertise, including the development of technical specifications that thoroughly meet business requirements while making efficient use of systems resources Configuration, testing and implementation of new and existing JDA Software applications: Allocation, Enterprise Planning, Assortment Planning, EP Performance Analysis, Channel Clustering, Size Scaling, etc. Designing new interface requirements to/from planning applications to/from other internal Clients applications Understanding how the client brands need to use the applications to determine configuration changes/modifications to support business changes Supporting the analysis and resolution of systems issues Conducting systems integration testing and acceptance testing Working closely with other team members and business partners for successful implementation and deployment of applications and business processes Working experience with industry-leading software applications for merchandise/assortment planning, replenishment, i.e., JDA, SAP, Oracle, etc. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, plus strong communication abilities to work in a team environment to resolve issues quickly Strong retail experience and thorough understanding of business processes Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Word, Project, Visio, etc.) Minimum 6 years experience in application design/development, ideally within retail apparel or fashion industry Understanding of multiple technologies, business analysis tools, development and testing methodologies Ability to handle shifting priorities while achieving goals and target dates Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
