Role: Quality Assurance Analyst Location: New Albany,OH Accountabilities Works closely with the Development team to ensure the effectiveness and quality of the components and systems developed. Tests for a range of projects from enhancements to strategic initiatives Defines test objectives and write test cases, test plans, and test scenarios. Writes & executes test plans and scripts, documentation of test procedures and issues. Utilizes HP ALM for defect logging and creation of reporting and statistics throughout the testing cycle. Partnership with IT leads in working through issues/defects & resolution Designs and develops testing procedures to ensure that software products are within quality management standards; update and modify existing test procedures as necessary. Partners with cross-functional leads responsible for UAT providing them with test schedules, test data, direction, and detailed test scripts All other duties as assigned. Job Requirements 5+ years relevant experience with proven results Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to work with and lead multidisciplinary teams. Ability to manage multiple high priority initiatives simultaneously. Ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams Experience in developing testing architectures and test plans. HP ALM experience a plus Associates degree in computer science, engineering, or related field Experience identifying, tracking and communicating software defects and failures to software developers and mangers. Experience performing manual and automation execution of test scripts using QA Tool is a plus.
