Role: Software Engineer III Location: Reston,VA Responsibilities Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications. Supports and/or installs software applications/operating systems. Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software. Designs, plans, and coordinates work teams. Provides technical support to project team members. May provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top level contributor/specialist. Work with the customer to capture the functional overview Translate the information needs of customers through our unique Serco methodology Design and model the customer specific information architecture Identify required source data and manage the integration with customers existing systems Provide business-driven requirements to our development team and opportunities to sales Build reports with cube information Build cubes, performance indicators, fact tables and views (performance frameworks) Create ETL packages to populate fact tables with data from source systems Performs a variety of tasks Were Looking For Someone With knowledge of and experience with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services With knowledge/experience of Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services & Reporting Services Preferably with rudimentary C# knowledge Driven, eager to learn and with a positive and energetic mindset Who combines pragmatic delivery capabilities with conceptual thinking Job assignments may require working at client site where working conditions may vary. Travel may be required.
