Description Our Direct Financial Services Client is seeking an ETL/SSIS Developer supporting ongoing Market and Credit Risk projects for a 6 month consulting project. Responsibilities: Develop, test and implement program logic using MS SSIS Technology Assist in the ongoing development for data movement, data quality, data cleansing and other ETL-related activities Analyze, translate functional specifications and change requests into technical specifications. Analyze and Optimizing of ETL load performance. Ability to reverse engineer and explore data from physical schema Ensure accuracy/integrity of data through analysis, coding, writing clear documentation and problem resolution. Engage in design, documentation, development, testing, and support of complex data extract, Working knowledge of Data Modeling tools such as Embarcadero Data Architect, MS Visio Ability to communicate clearly with the Business Analysts, Data Modelers and Solution Architects when it comes to converting the ETL design into specific development activities Develop the task plan for ETL developers for a specific projects, mentor junior developers Ability to create technical presentations for Senior Management General know how in technology space outside of SQL/Database, etc. Required Skills: Very Strong SQL Development experience MS SSIS Expertise Preferred Skills: .NET SSRS SSAS
