ITLE: SAP NETWEAVER ADMIN ( 5 YEARS AS A NETWEAVER ADMIN) LOCATION: FT. LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA DURATION: 8 MONTHS WITH EXTENSIONS Intermediate knowledge of Netweaver Web Application Server ABAP and JAVA, EP, Solution Manager, HP-UX, Oracle and or SQL Server. Comprehensive experience with transport process and design. Oracle 11G system troubleshooting on HP-UX environments, including availability to perform client and system upgrades and db migrations. Position Description: Acts as a member a team of SAP Netweaver Administration who are responsible for the operation and maintenance of Citrixs SAP landscape. Works to coordinate modifications with other Application and Infrastructure teams to ensure complete solutions are defined and implemented. Works according to existing Change Controls Procedures. Monitors and supports SAP Landscape to ensure the highest level of system availability. This is an on-call position (rotating schedule) and requires that the individual provide for a means of contact 24/7 while on call as defined by the Mgr, SAP PracticeBasis Team. Primary Duties / Responsibilities Primarily though, this position will be a member of the Basis team to support and/or installation the SAP landscape consisting of sandbox, development and QA. Secondary functions may include support to Production Operation Basis Team with the SAP Productive landscape; configuring and administration of the underlying database(s); SAP Basis operating system (Netweaver) support; network sizing; performance and management; technology hardware sizing; desktop requirements; printers / other output devices; security (network, database, application); data archiving; backup & restore; configuration transport management; SAP hot pack / support pack deployment and test, and configuration / maintenance of end-user security. Qualifications (knowledge, skills, abilities) Basic to intermediate knowledge of LAN/WAN/SAN, server hardware, operating systems, technologies, and configurations. Intermediate knowledge of Netweaver Web Application Server ABAP and JAVA, EP, Solution Manager, HP-UX, Oracle and or SQL Server. Comprehensive experience with transport process and design. Intermediate knowledge on installation, configuration, landscape design, troubleshooting, support packages implementation, tuning and production support. SAP system troubleshooting, problem solving, capacity planning, tuning and application server load balancing, homogeneous and heterogeneous system copies, ccms and solution manager auto-alert configuration, as well as day-to-day monitoring and administration of SAP systems. Oracle 11G system troubleshooting on HP-UX environments, including availability to perform client and system upgrades and db migrations. Ability to analyze and solve problems of a complex nature in a timely manner. Strong interpersonal skills, self motivated and very detail oriented with superior problem solving ability. Ability to express complex technical concepts in terms that are understandable to the business, other team members and managers. Strong teamwork, communication, and good writing skills. Requirements (Education, Certification, Training, and Experience) Degree in computer related field. A minimum of five years of SAP Netweaver experience.
