Responsibilities: 1. Support HR Generalist in the responsibilities listed below. 1.1. Hiring reviewing applications, conduct phone interviews, make offers and conduct new employee orientation. 1.2. Performance management - Assistance with investigations (pulling together performance history), discipline documentation (creating first drafts), performance reviews (attending eval huddles) and terminations (compile information needed for the termination process and sitting in on termination presentations as needed). 1.3. Staffing discussions & compensation analysis Scheduling, organizing & attending meetings, taking notes, compiling and maintain spreadsheets and uploading to SharePoint. 2. Participate in Human Resource Department related projects that have a broader impact then the immediate HR Generalists you support. Provide ideas, take notes, organizing efforts etc. 3. Strive for continual process improvement of the HR Coordinator responsibilities through application of LEAN principles 4. Learn and stay current on Daktronics policies and procedures plus follow them and assist in implementing of them. 5. Maintain confidentiality. 6. Do other duties as assigned. Desired Skills and Experience 1. A bachelors degree is required with a preferred focus in human resources or business. 2. Demonstrated experience in the areas listed below (which may be found in previous employment, club participations, school projects etc.) 2.1. Courteous and professional English written and verbal communication skills 2.2. Strong interpersonal skills showing collaboration with others and building effective relationships. 2.3. Strong organizational skills where youve managed multiple and changing priorities with accuracy. 2.4. Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently. 2.5. Commitment to following policies and procedures and maintaining confidentiality. 3. Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. 4. Background check will be conducted.
