SOA/API Developer Location ideally Mason, OH (suburb of Cincinnati) or Minneapolis Duration 6 months initially This position is responsible for factoring and crafting service interfaces into appropriately granular API calls for client applications within a large-scale enterprise environment. As a part of their solid understanding of service designs and governance model, the ideal candidate will have the following: Experience with planning and managing API product strategies and feature roadmaps Experience with API design and development (WSDL/SOAP/XML and REST/JSON), including service granularity and service version management considerations Exposure to service security standards such as OAuth and WS-Security, and exposure to policy based security enforcement Experience cataloging and documenting services within the context of a service registry or ESB governance tool Exposure to API Management tools such as IBM or WSO2 Experience in Healthcare insurance payment space a strong plus. Exposure to RESTful interface standards such as RAML or WADL a plus Experience working in an Agile delivery environment is a big plus
