Lead the management of global supply strategies, including sourcing and developing global and domestic suppliers and contract manufacturers, policies, and processes. Manage supplier performance via TQRDC (Technology, Quality, Responsiveness, Delivery, and Cost) methodologies. Provide guidance to suppliers on ways to improve quality, delivery, and cost. Initiate and enhance global sourcing opportunities, achieving annual cost-saving objectives to support of Calix corporate objectives. Work proactively and cross functionally to assure design for supply chain objectives are achieved; collaborate to simplify supply chain initiatives to fit the business both globally and locally; recognize opportunities to globally source/outsource the supply chain components. Create and implement out-of-the-box supply chain solutions. Establish and implement strategies for negotiating commodity purchase agreements based on in-depth knowledge of foreign and domestic markets and suppliers for optimum pricing and commercial terms. Research and identify global supply chain and technology trends and advancements. Identify and mitigate commercial risks. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Business, Materials Management or related field required with 10 years of global sourcing, supply chain and logistics experience. Experience in global sourcing and EMS management required, Asia preferred. Excellent communication skills at all levels required, including proficiency with major software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong and effective English skills required, both spoken and written, including expertise in making presentations. Multi-lingual/multi-cultural expertise a plus. Demonstrated leadership capabilities and proficient in working with all levels of the organization. Global travel ability required (up to 15%). Demonstrated negotiation, supplier management and influencing skills. Strong interpersonal skills required for interfacing with both internal and external customers and suppliers. Experience with PLM/ERP systems required (Oracle EBS and Agile preferred).
