Role: Lead Hadoop Engineer Consumer Digital Technology Location: Portland,OR We're looking for someone special, someone who had these experiences and clearly demonstrated these skills: MS/BS in Computer Science or related field 7+ years of experience in large-scale software development 4 to 5 years of experience with data analytics and high volume data processing Hands-on experience with Hadoop and tools such as Hive, Sqoop, Pig, Impala and Spark Strong experience with SQL and Relational databases Experience with scripting languages such as Shell and Python Familiarity with a variety of data formats and protocols such as JSON, AVRO, RC Experience with performance/scalability tuning, algorithms and computational complexity Strong communication and collaboration skills Familiarity with NOSQL technologies such as HBase and Cassandra is preferred Experience with Kafka and Storm is desired Ability to pass a 7 year background investigation
