Primary responsibilities for this position include the following: Full ownership on assigned SAP Modules. Develop needed expertise to ensure business needs are met in the implementation and ongoing usage. Support reporting requirements in assigned SAP modules. Support interfaces and software integrations impacting assigned SAP modules. Analyze internal customer requirements and work with the business to adapt processeses to SAP and support the development of custom solutions as needed. Lead testing, troubleshooting, support efforts for minor enhancements and customizations. Research and perform trouble shooting steps for technical problems across the SAP landscape. Coordinate and work with internal/external auditors providing them the required information for financial and other audits. Monitor and troubleshoot security errors or users/access problems. Continuously work on to improve/automate the processes where ever possible. Partners with Service Center to improve first level support, including providing documentation and training for supporting routine issues and new functionality. May participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24x7 support. Other duties as assigned. The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience: A BS Degree (MS degree is preferred) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other similar technical discipline is required. Consideration will be given to candidates without a degree or with a BS/BA in business (MBA preferred) who can demonstrate equivalent knowledge gained from additional professional experience. Must have a minimum of 4 years experience analyzing, developing and supporting SAP, including experience with standard SAP modules including at least two of the following: PLM, MM, LE, WM, and SD. Experience supporting line-of-business applications required, with manufacturing experience preferred. Must demonstrate experience in business systems analysis and requirements development. Must have a strong understanding of business/financial/statistical mathematical requirements. Must be able to manage and resolve ambiguity in requirements, assignments and tasks Must be a self-starter capable of independent creative work, with demonstrated experience defining requirements and delivering applications to meet requirements. Must be able to work independently as well as thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, team environment. Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal). Must have a minimum of 8 years professional work experience in Information Technology.
