***Position has been open for 6 mos. They are very specific with the candidate they are looking for. The candidates MUST HAVE experience with Technical Design, must have experience with a retail/e-commerce enivornment.


Essential Functions: Hands on maintenance of responsibility for ecommerce including 3rd party integrations Assesses the business and organizational implications of key application technology alternatives for wide-impact initiatives; recommends appropriate action Guides the development team in overall application technology design activities; leads the identification and definition of key architectures, components and interfaces, design of data model and data/information flows Leads the identification and definition of key architectures, components and interfaces, design of data model (entity relationships) and data/information flows Assesses the business and organizational implications of key application technology alternatives for wide-impact initiatives to recommend appropriate strategic action Collaborate with a team of developers and business analysts to ensure quality and timely project completion Ability to think out of the box and design concrete, robust and scalable solutions Desired Skills and Experience Here’s what you need to join the fun: Bachelors degree, Graduate degree preferred 5+ years of E-commerce and/or software product development experience Three or more years of experience with Java, JEE, Object-oriented design principles, EJB, JSP, Struts, AJAX, CSS and HTML Experience with Websphere Application Server/Web Logic Experience working with SOA / Web Services is a plus Working knowledge/hand on experience with javascript APIs i.e. JQuery, DOJO, etc Approximately 8-12 years experience in related field Strong e-Commerce and Software Product Development Experience, overall 7-10 years experience in application development, JEE, SOA / Web Services Experience working with implementing third party e-commerce services including but not limited to: Payment Methods (Paypal, Google Checkout), Product Reviews, e-commerce analytics (Coremetrics, Google Analytics), SEO/SEM, on-site search solutions (Endeca) Experience working with databases and ESB Experience working within Agile teams
