Skills and abilities REQUIRED

• 3+ years of Appian developer skills including front-end and API building within Appian tool
• Extensive use in Appian Components Integration Configuration Web API
• 5 - 8+ years as Java developer or other systems development Struts IntelliJ AWS cloud technologies
• MySQL OR SQL Server
• Unit Testing
• GitLab

Preferred

• JUnit experience
• Preferred Maven experience
• Prefer a strong desire to become an expert within the NEW application and the desire to move those old technologies forwardGeneral use of Appian components;

JOB DESCRIPTION

• The Filing Solution team has more than 50 staff members that are highly functional, very integrated, and work in a great team environment.The department includes software engineers, architects, business analysts, quality engineers, scrum masters, and managers. The legacy SERFF (the client product name) is made up of 9 active components equaling 389,000+ lines of code with a very complex database with 200+ tables.The code architecture is old but built on newer technology using Java 8 libraries.This is what will be redesigned utilizing Appian and AWS components.The legacy team will continue to support our current applications.The Appian Developer will join this new team and will work closely together with the legacy team as we transition to the modern technology stack and begin integrating components.We are just getting started building out this latest team.The team will have both full- time and consultants working together in an Agile team format
