Minimum Training and Education: Bachelor or master's degree in Occupational Therapy and one year of experience as an occupational therapist.

Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations: Licensure as an Occupational Therapist by the South Carolina Board of Occupational Therapy and registration with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
