QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Requirements:
Identify items that are minimally required to perform the essential functions of this position.
Education:
Graduate of an accredited RN Degree Nursing Program.
Experience:
- Practice in and advanced Medical/Surgical Unit and recent Critical Care Nursing including cardiovascular surgery is required.
- Prefer experience with Impella and/or other cardiac balloon pumps
- 1-2 years of Cardiac Surgical ICU experience strongly preferred.
License(s)/Certification(s):
- Current State of Montana RN Licensure, BLS, ACLS required. Complete PALS courses within 6 months of hire and renewal as required.
- EPNC, TNCC certification preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Advanced Nursing Principles and Procedures. Use of basic office equipment, use of multiple IV pumps, ability to operate advanced medical equipment, including A-lines, Invasive lines, cardiac balloon pumps Chest tubes, patients requiring Ventilatory Support.
Other:
Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position.
