LDR Obstetrics Nurse

Main Function:

Develop or display a genuine interest in family centered labor and delivery.  Participates in job orientation and training in obstetrics, the length of which will be determined by experience and evaluation.  Has a full understanding of all Obstetric Policies, Protocols, and Procedures.  Attends quarterly Perinatal Committee meetings.  Call required

 

Qualifications:

· Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed in Kansas

· BLS upon hire, ACLS, PALs, NRP, and TNCC certification within 6 months of hire and maintained while in this position (TNCC may take 1 year to obtain)

· Ability to demonstrate age specific competencies
