Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Plant Piping Engineer to support the design, engineering, and execution of piping systems for industrial and process plant projects. The candidate will be responsible for piping layout, pipe routing, P&ID review, 3D modeling, piping specifications, and coordination with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and review plant piping layouts, piping plans, and isometric drawings.
• Perform pipe routing based on P&IDs, equipment layouts, and project requirements.
• Develop and review 3D piping models using SP3D, E3D, PDMS, or similar tools.
• Review P&IDs and ensure piping designs comply with project specifications.
• Coordinate piping design activities with Process, Mechanical, Structural, Electrical, and Instrumentation teams.
• Prepare and review piping isometrics, GA drawings, spool drawings, and piping plans.
• Develop and review piping material specifications and line lists.
• Support piping support design and coordinate with structural engineering teams.
• Prepare and review MTOs, BOQs, and material take-offs.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes and standards, including ASME B31.3.
• Participate in design reviews, constructability reviews, and interdisciplinary coordination meetings.
• Identify and resolve piping design and engineering issues during project execution.
• Support field engineering and construction teams with technical clarification when required.
• Ensure all piping deliverables meet project quality, safety, and schedule requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in plant piping engineering/design.
• Experience working on process, chemical, oil & gas, petrochemical, power, or industrial plant projects.
• Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, piping standards, and project specifications.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary EPC project environments.
