SAP FICO Lead Consultant – Chemical Industry

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Lead Consultant with 12+ years of SAP consulting experience and strong expertise in Product Costing and manufacturing finance within the chemical or petrochemical industry.

The consultant will lead SAP FICO solution design, implementation, optimization, and production support activities while working closely with plant finance, manufacturing, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead SAP FICO solution design, implementation, and support.
• Drive Product Costing, CCA, PCA, Internal Orders, and COPA processes.
• Configure and optimize SAP CO-PC Product Costing.
• Support standard costing, actual costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
• Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
• Work closely with manufacturing and plant finance teams.
• Collaborate with MM, PP, PM, and SD teams on integrated processes.
• Support SAP S/4HANA Finance transformation initiatives.
• Conduct business workshops and provide functional recommendations.
• Identify process gaps and recommend optimization opportunities.
• Prepare functional specifications and support testing activities.
• Support audit, compliance, and financial reporting requirements.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 12+ years of SAP FICO consulting experience.
• Strong expertise in GL, AP, AR, AA, CCA, PCA, CO-PC, Internal Orders, and COPA.
• Deep experience with Product Costing in process manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of chemical/petrochemical industry processes.
• Hands-on experience with costing runs, settlement cycles, and variance calculations.
• Strong SAP S/4HANA Finance experience.
• Excellent integration knowledge across MM, PP, PM, and SD.
• Experience supporting plant manufacturing operations and inventory accounting.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to drive process transformation and business optimization discussions.
