Project Overview:

The Innovation Labs team is seeking a Software Architect to define and build next generation products. The Software Architect will investigate, design, and implement technical solutions while working closely with lean and agile development teams.

Key responsibilities include documenting domain models, maintaining API schemas, contributing to the Software Development Life Cycle, and remaining hands on with production code, automation, and supporting tools.

Role Requirements:

Experience:
10 or more years of experience in a Software Architecture role.

Test Driven Development:
Deep experience with Test Driven Development is required. The team automates all quality gates and follows a true Continuous Delivery approach. Candidates must be strong advocates of TDD and Continuous Delivery practices.

Technical Proficiency:
Strong hands on experience with either Node.js or Java.

Architecture and Design:
Experience translating complex technical solutions into UML diagrams using Enterprise Architect, Mural, or similar architecture and design tools.

API Design:
Proven experience designing APIs used to integrate isolated systems and independent business domains.

DevOps Tools:
Hands on experience with Jenkins and Docker.

Development Background:
Strong background as an API Developer or Backend Developer.

Soft Skills:
Excellent problem solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced development environment.

Preferred Experience:

Experience with SOX compliant systems is a plus.

Experience in E Commerce is a plus.

Experience in Cybersecurity is a plus.
