Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Mainframe & MDS Developer with strong hands-on experience in Mainframe technologies and MDS.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in Mainframe development, application maintenance, troubleshooting, and production support.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Mainframe technologies

• Strong hands-on experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS

• Experience with VSAM, TSO/ISPF, and SQL

• Good knowledge of MDS

• Experience in Mainframe application development and maintenance

• Strong experience in batch processing and production support

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

• Experience working with enterprise-level applications

• Good understanding of database concepts and SQL

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support Mainframe applications.

• Analyze business and technical requirements and provide effective solutions.

• Develop and modify COBOL programs and JCL jobs.

• Work with DB2, CICS, and VSAM environments.

• Perform application troubleshooting and defect resolution.

• Support batch processing and production issues.

• Participate in testing, deployment, and release activities.

• Collaborate with development, QA, business, and support teams.

• Ensure applications meet technical and business requirements.

• Provide production support and resolve issues within agreed timelines.

Good communication and technical skills are required.
