Backend Developer (Java)

Location : Mountain View, CA & New York City, NY (Onsite Only)

Required Skills
· 7+ years of experience in backend software development.

· Strong expertise in Java (17/21), Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Microservices, and REST APIs.

· Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native application development.

· Experience with Kafka, PostgreSQL/SQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

· Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and performance optimization.

Domain Experience (Mandatory)
· Hands-on experience in the Banking or FinTech domain is required.

· Experience building platforms related to payments, lending, digital banking, merchant services, or financial transactions is highly preferred.

· Exposure to Risk Management, Fraud Detection, KYC/KYB, or Payment Processing is a plus.

Responsibilities
· Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.

· Build cloud-native applications on AWS.

· Develop secure, high-performance microservices and REST APIs.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-scale financial solutions.

· Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and Agile development.
