Position Overview
We are seeking a talented Python Developer to join a large-scale digital transformation initiative for a leading insurance organization. The client is modernizing its technology landscape by migrating from legacy on-premise systems to industry-leading SaaS platforms, including Guidewire and Earnix, to streamline policy administration, improve customer experience, and reduce operational overhead.

The ideal candidate will have strong Python development skills, experience with system integrations, data platforms, and monitoring tools, and the ability to work collaboratively across business and technical teams. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a high-impact modernization program within a highly competitive and innovative insurance environment.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications and integration solutions using Python.
Build and support integrations between legacy systems, SaaS platforms, enterprise applications, and third-party services.
Develop automation scripts, APIs, and data processing solutions to support business operations.
Create and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
Utilize Snowflake to support data warehousing, analytics, and reporting initiatives.
Implement and maintain system monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure application reliability and performance.
Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective software solutions.
Collaborate with architects, developers, business analysts, QA teams, and project stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution for production and integration-related incidents.
Support application deployments, testing, and ongoing maintenance activities.
Create technical documentation and ensure adherence to development best practices.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of professional experience in Python Development.
Strong experience with System Integration, API development, and data exchange processes.
Advanced proficiency in SQL and database design concepts.
Hands-on experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouse technologies.
Experience implementing and supporting Monitoring Tools, logging frameworks, and operational dashboards.
Working knowledge of R for statistical analysis, reporting, or data modeling.
Strong understanding of software development best practices and SDLC methodologies.
Experience working with cloud-based and SaaS applications.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Guidewire, Earnix, or other insurance industry platforms.
Insurance domain experience, particularly in policy administration or underwriting systems.
Knowledge of ETL processes, data engineering, and enterprise integration patterns.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
