Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll Lead with strong expertise in Oracle Cloud Payroll implementations and a preference for candidates with Healthcare industry experience. This is an urgent replacement requirement, and the selected consultant must be able to transition quickly and actively participate in client design workshops beginning June 22, 2026.

The Payroll Lead will be responsible for leading payroll design, configuration, testing, integration, and deployment activities while serving as the primary functional expert for Oracle Cloud Payroll.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll implementation and support activities.
• Conduct payroll discovery, fit-gap analysis, and solution design workshops with client stakeholders.
• Participate in and lead design sessions, requirements gathering, and business process discussions.
• Configure Oracle Cloud Payroll components, including:
  • Payroll Definitions
  • Payroll Relationships
  • Payroll Elements
  • Earnings and Deductions
  • Balances
  • Payroll Flows
  • Costing
  • Tax Configuration
  • Retroactive Processing
  • Payroll Calculations
• Design and develop payroll processes aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with HR, Benefits, Compensation, Time & Labor, and technical teams.
• Develop and review functional design documents and configuration workbooks.
• Support data conversion, payroll validation, reconciliation, and parallel payroll testing.
• Lead System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and payroll parallel testing cycles.
• Work with technical teams on integrations, HCM Extracts, HDL, and Fast Formulas.
• Support deployment planning, cutover activities, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Provide issue resolution, risk management, and stakeholder communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Mentor junior team members and provide Oracle Payroll best-practice guidance.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 8+ years of Oracle HCM experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll implementation experience.
• Strong expertise in Oracle Cloud Payroll configuration and business processes.
• Experience leading full-cycle Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll implementations.

• Knowledge of U.S. payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
