Role Summary

We are seeking a Lead MDM Engineer with strong experience in Master Data Management (MDM), Data Governance, and Data Quality to lead enterprise-scale data initiatives. This role requires both technical expertise and leadership capabilities in managing complex data ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

MDM Strategy & Governance

• Define and lead enterprise MDM strategy 
• Establish data governance policies and stewardship frameworks 
• Create and maintain “golden records” (Customer, Supplier, Product domains) 

Architecture & Implementation

• Design and implement MDM solutions 
• Build data models, integration flows, match/merge rules, and ETL pipelines 
• Work on large-scale data architecture and lineage 

Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor data analysts and data stewards 
• Manage deliverables, timelines, and performance 

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work with business teams (Sales, Finance, Marketing) 
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions 

Data Quality & Governance

• Define KPIs and data quality rules 
• Monitor, analyze, and resolve data quality issues 

Change Management

• Drive adoption of data standards across organization 
• Promote data as a strategic enterprise asset 

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in: 
  • Master Data Management (MDM) 
  • Data Governance & Data Quality 
• Strong SQL and Python expertise 
• Experience with: 
  • Data profiling and source system analysis 
  • Data architecture, lineage, and data dictionaries 
• Hands-on experience with: 
  • Hadoop / Spark / Snowflake 
  • BI tools (Tableau, ThoughtSpot, Business Objects) 
• Agile/Scrum experience (Jira, Confluence, etc.) 
• Experience with governance tools like Collibra or DataHub 

Preferred Qualifications

• Data management or analytics certifications 
• Experience handling large-scale enterprise data programs 
• Strong stakeholder management skills
