Business Analyst with AEM

Redmond, WA (Hybrid)

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Translate business needs into detailed AEM-specific user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
  • Act as a liaison between business teams and AEM developers to ensure clear communication and alignment.
  • Understand AEM architecture, including components, templates, workflows, and content authoring processes.
  • Participate in solution design discussions and provide input on AEM capabilities and constraints.
  • Support backlog grooming, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies.
  • Conduct gap analysis and recommend process improvements or system enhancements.
  • Assist in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by creating test cases, coordinating testing activities, and validating outcomes.
  • Ensure proper documentation of requirements, workflows, and system configurations.
  • Monitor project progress and help resolve issues or risks related to business requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in digital or web-based projects.
  • Strong understanding of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including:
    • AEM Sites
    • Content authoring and publishing workflows
    • Components and templates
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Proficiency in requirement gathering tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AEM 6.x or AEM as a Cloud Service.
  • Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Knowledge of digital marketing concepts (SEO, personalization, analytics).
  • Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA) or Agile (CSM, PMI-ACP) is a plus.
  • Experience in integrating AEM with third-party systems (CRM, DAM, APIs)
